Customer Insights
Working with Scott and Raze Studios, we first provided a dedicated space and time to unpack ideas. We translated the conversations into a clear ‘clarity and options’ report with grounded, next-step recommendations – moving from ideas powerhouse to action, without overwhelming or losing what makes the ventures uniquely "Raze".
Scott reached out to Peakpact not with a neat brief but with a message that captured how it can feel to explore new ventures whilst running an existing business: a pull of opposing demands; holding multiple ideas, risks, and decisions; a need to collaborate on sounding-out and developing plans. The outreach communicated part-formed concepts, incompatible factors, strong conviction and direction of travel but no clear through-route.
The Peakpact way
Rather than asking for a sharper brief or pushing a pre defined service, we treated the first interaction as a space to slow down and understand. Barry, Peakpact’s Director of Strategy & Purpose, made it clear to Scott that he didn’t have to be “ready” or perfectly organised – the work would start from where he was.
-
Human-first: An in-person, unhurried conversation to hear the story – excitement and doubts, capacities and constraints – time and space to lay things out.

-
Listening and reflection: Barry listened to the details and for interconnected patterns: what are the themes that repeat across goals, concepts, concerns, strengths, blind spots, the near- and the long-term.

-
Validation: Context appreciated as a natural and valuable part of this type of venture for a solo founder. Not a “mess” of underdeveloped thoughts, but an essential stage in a creative process: the raw conditions for discovery, clarity, and progress.

-
Impact: The first steps (before the introduction of any documentation, framework or to-do lists) needed to be emotional as much as strategic. Through working together and aiming beyond linear pursuits of static goals, Scott felt lighter, significantly clearer, and more connected with his own strong ideas and abilities.
Conversation → clarity
After the initial sessions, Peakpact distilled the conversation into a structured “clarity and options” summary. This working map of the situation captured:
-
Core ideas, factors and ventures in play
-
Real constraints (time, energy, finances, existing commitments…)
-
Critical questions that needed answering before scaling effort
-
Known and overlooked opportunities.
Not a prescription of actions without context. Not a catchall strategy deck from a template. A relatable and relevant summary, written in the client’s language, organised to turn “messy” into understandable, sensible and manageable. A map highlighting important themes, tensions and key waypoints worth reaching.
Peakpact then suggested achievable next steps that respected Scott’s current bandwidth and personal values, to move from the ideas phase and into low risk, deliberate action.
Ownership, with backup
A concern for Scott, when engaging with outside support, was losing ownership of his ideas. Generic consulting can leave founders feeling like passengers in their own business, with someone else setting an agenda dislocated from the deeper stories.
Peakpact takes a different route:
• Decisions and priorities remain firmly with the client; Peakpact’s role is to enable, challenge, clarify, and guide.
• Relevant options are aligned with values and circumstances. Trade offs, decision junctures, and risks are laid out clearly with space for critique, refinement, and further exploration.
• Wherever directive input is appropriate, Peakpact offers it as a partner, not as a replacement decision maker.

Outcomes and benefits
Let’s hear this from Scott:
I have to think about every aspect of my businesses. Sometimes it gets quite muddy and I can get bogged down. The opportunity to lay things out in a clear, concise way helped massively.
Barry at Peakpact pulled together the things we chatted about and really honed down on some vital parts of what I needed. He picked up on really useful aspects that I had completely missed.
Reviewing our initial sessions back together helped get things moving and out of the ideas phase. Peakpact suggested real steps that appreciated the realities of my situation. All very achievable.
Taking into consideration how busy I was and how hectic my thoughts were at the time, the whole process with Barry from Peakpact was very cathartic.
What I felt a lot, which is really important to me, is that this wasn’t someone coming in, taking over my ideas and telling me I need to do this and that or else it won’t work. It very much felt guided and positive, with me still being in control. This also meant that if I wanted more direct input or direction, I felt safe and confident that I could lean on that too.

Whether your ideas are crystal clear and need strategic action, part-formed ready for refinement and testing, or a little muddy with potential to uncover, we’re here to help and join the adventure.
